Ever since they revamped the place (possibly 10 years ago), we've never had a bad experience here when I come back to Illinois to visit family! The jalapeno margarita was very good, as it had no sweet & sour mix, good jalapeno taste, and a noticeable amount of alcohol.
Love this place, their Shrimp Diablo is the hottest (spiciest) meal from a restaurant that I've ever had. It is also very romantic if you choose a booth (my preference), but the bar has multiple TVs for the sports fans.
Unfortunately, the food was horrible. It was over cooked and dripping with grease. We all ended up with stomach issues later that day. We will not be going there again.
I wish I could give a discription of what my experience was like and how the food taste. But the minute we walked in the bar tender looked upset we showed up an hour and a half before close. We never were asked what we wanted to drink or eat. After about 5 minutes of being ignored we left...gave Buffalo Wild Wings our money instead.
Haven't eaten here in years but home visiting and decided to drop in and introduce our daughter to them.
Just okay. Friendly staff but the food is nothing to pine over. Same owners as Rosita's but for some reason I prefer Rosita's.
