Pretty expensive and it's hard to find items sometimes. Could use better organization.

NIU is a good school overall. The student center is nice and more updated than other student centers I've been to.

This is a nice bookstore that has pretty much everything you would need for school, including NIU apparel. However, as many college bookstores go, the prices are very high on everything.
